I’ve seen at least two, maybe three, new hockey secrets type of blogs. Maybe I’ll just give up on this one. I know I’m not good with updating it all the time but I don’t get to come on here until late at night and half the time I forget that I have submissions in my ask box waiting for me. The other half is when I realize that I have to update this blog but it’s just too late to start making the pictures.

What do you guys think? Should I just stop? I mean I kind of like the other one I saw yesterday or the day before. They were using pictures of the players in the secret.

So, the new design has a plain white background. I figured that was safer than changing the background for every team. The font is Hockey is Lif (fitting, yes?) and the colors vary. The “Hockey secret #:” bit will be a color of that team, the secret color will also be a color of that team. (The tag in the bottom right hand corner doesn’t really matter, does it?)

In the center of the image, is the team’s logo. It will be faded into the background and the secret will go over top of it. On either side of the logo will be faded numbers, depending on who is in the secret. (One player: on both sides of the logo will be his number. Two or more players: numbers will be on both sides, but only once.)

Please let me know what you guys think of it when you see it. I really like it, but I’m the one making it so I guess I have to like it. But please be honest. Go anon if you want to, I don’t care. All I care about is honest feedback.

Please please please give me some feedback. These are your secrets. I want to show them in a nice way. (Does that make sense?) If I get a lot of negative feedback I’ll host a “contest” to design your secrets.

I’ve got a couple saved in the que to post while I’m at work tomorrow (as well as a little explanation on the design) and I’ll get back to working on the rest of them after work. Unless no one likes the design. Then I’ll have to start a contest.

I’m changing the “design” of the secrets. I’m thinking plain white background, the font will be Hockey Is Lif, and I’ll put the number and team symbol on the sides of the secret. Need a visual?

If you think it sucks or have any other idea of what you’d like to see, other than secrets actually being posted, please don’t hesitate to tell me!

Long story short: Lots of family drama these past few weeks. I also need to clear out my computer of unnecessary files, but that’s nothing major. I just need some feedback from you guys. Let me know what you think (:
